There is mini market in the small village where you find everything to fill up your fridge.

Description

A one bedroomed cottage with a full sized private pool just for your use, tucked away in its own quiet garden, only 7 minutes drive to undeveloped beaches, 20 minutes walk to local bar/restaurant Vasilias Nikoklis Inn, and about 15 minutes to the well stocked minimarket which now has a coffee shop serving food like kebabs, and you can sit outside and enjoy the lovely views.  12 minutes drive to Paphos Town. The village is a bird sanctuary and protected area.

If you are a birdspotter the Cottage overlooks the River Dhiarizos valley and you have the Asprokremnos Dam a 5 minute drive away. Also Mandria beach (15 minutes), Pafos Headland (25 minutes) and the Fassouri reed beds (30 minutes). Examples of birds seen and heard near the Cottage are Black Francolin, Nightjar, Hoopoe, Collared Flycatcher, Bee eaters and Scops Owl.

The valley has beautiful views and is ideal for walking, and both the Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills golf courses are nearby.
Home cooked food is now available from Zoe the owner, and you can also order this for your arrival. Chicken and salad, 12 Euro pp. A menu for other home made dishes will be in the Cottage.
Access to the villa is via the owner’s pretty gardens, and guests are welcome to wander around. Although they live next door, they will respect your privacy completely, but are there if needed ..

Accommodation

Ground floor: Twin bedroom has spacious en-suite walk in shower/WC.  Well equipped lounge/kitchenette has air conditioning. Overhead and moveable fans in both rooms. The Sanyo oven/grill is suitable for light meals and there is also a toaster. Gas heater for cooler months.

Outside: Steps to poolside. Pool with ladder access, terrace and lawned garden. Gas BBQ

Minimarket/coffee shop/kebab: 500 m approx, Beach/sea: 6 km, Shop: 4 km, Local Restaurants: 2 km, Vasilias Nikoklis Inn: 2 km,  Water Park: 13 km, Paphos/Kato Paphos: 14k m, Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills golf courses: 10 km, Paphos Airport: 9 km, Larnaca Airport: 110 km on a highway, not busy.

Other information

1 April - 31 October: Air conditioning/heating is available via a slot meter which takes 1 Euro coins for approx 90 minutes.
1 Nov - 31 March. Heating: 1 x Gas cylinder (per booking) for mobile gas fire included in rates. This should last approx 1 week if used on low setting. Further cylinder approx 14 Euros.
Much recommended by our clients: The lady owner offers Alternative Healing, Reiki, and Indian Head massage. She can recommend a Body Talk specialist on request. Cot available. Satellite TV is Nile TV which has a number of English channels, some German and French. Film and world news channels include Fox Film, BBC News, CNN, Euro News and MTV 1 2 3

You may occupy the villa from 4 pm and vacate by 10 am.

Car Hire is advisable. Please ask me for good rates.

Rates are subject to change. This will not affect any bookings taken.

Rental includes: Welcome hamper including eggs, bacon, bread, butter, juice, beers, water, milk, coffee and tea. Linen and towels. Fresh supply of linen and towels.
